The Caltex Thanks! card is a loyalty card issued by Chevron Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“Chevron”) that can be used to accumulate Thanks! points (“Points”) for redemption of benefits and/or privileges (including goods and services) (“Rewards”) under the Caltex Thanks! programme (“Programme”).

By applying for and/or using the Caltex Thanks! card, the cardholder agrees to be bound by the Caltex Thanks! cardholder Terms and Conditions and such other terms and conditions relating to the issue and use of the Caltex Thanks! card as may be prescribed by Chevron from time to time.

  • Any individual person aged eighteen (18) or above can apply to be a Thanks! cardholder. Chevron reserves the right to reject any application without giving any reason whatsoever. To join, an individual person must purchase a minimum of three (3) litres of fuel at any Caltex service station in Singapore.
  • The Programme awards one (1) Point for one (1) litre of fuel purchased.
  • Points will only be credited at participating Caltex service stations with presentation of Caltex Thanks! card at point of purchase for qualifying purchases using approved payment means (in each case as stated by Chevron). Points earned cannot be transferred or combined. Under no circumstances will Chevron entertain any request to (i) credit Points earned into another cardholder’s account; or (ii) credit Points from earlier or backdated receipts for purchases made at any Caltex service station in Singapore.
  • Cardholders can apply for multiple Thanks! cards under one (1) account, subject to a $10 fee for each additional card. The use of the additional cards is taken to be authorised by the Thanks! cardholder, and can be used to earn and redeem Thanks! points.
  • Thanks! points have a validity period of up to three (3) calendar years, e.g. transactions made between 1 January and 31 December 2010 will expire on 31 December 2012. All Points previously accumulated on the Caltex Thanks! card shall automatically expire with such termination and no redemptions will be allowed.
  • For redemptions, Points will be utilised on a first-in, first-out basis. Redemption of Rewards is subject to a prerequisite that the cardholder’s Caltex Thanks! card has sufficient Points and availability of proposed Reward to be redeemed.
  • Once a request for redemption has been made by the cardholder, strictly no cancellations or exchanges will be allowed.
  • Redemption is not applicable for purchase of these items: newspapers, parking coupons, phone cards and tobacco.
  • Any issues by customers on request for redemptions made must be raised with Chevron via the Caltex Hotline within three (3) calendar months from date of request. Issues raised thereafter will not be entertained.
  • Chevron accepts no liability for the quality of goods and services provided pursuant to the Programme.
  • Stolen or lost Rewards issued will not be replaced. Rewards which are expired, illegible, altered or damaged will be considered invalid. Rewards are not transferable, exchangeable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or the Caltex StarCard.
  • Chevron may replace any Rewards offered with a substitute of comparable value without notice.
  • Chevron reserves the right to adjust the number of Points required to redeem for each Reward without prior notice nor be subject to the consent of the cardholders.
  • Chevron is not responsible for any losses or liabilities whatsoever arising out of any use of or inability to use the Caltex Thanks! card and/or the Programme, any products or services provided including any Rewards, any information or features provided or available in connection with the Caltex Thanks! card, any malfunction, defect or error of any card reader or other machine or system, any computer software or hardware error, any loss or corruption of any data, any fraud or forgery, or any lost, stolen or unauthorised use of the Caltex Thanks! card.
  • Lost card replacement will be subject to a fee imposed by Chevron which can be paid in cash or through Thanks! points redemption. For further details please call the Caltex Hotline.
  • Cardholders may call the Caltex Hotline at 1800 333 0222 (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri, excluding Public Holidays) with any queries regarding the Programme.
  • Any decision made at Chevron's sole discretion regarding the terms and use of the Caltex Thanks! card and/or the Programme shall be final and binding.
  • Chevron reserves the right to cancel, amend, suspend and/or terminate the Programme at any time without prior notice to nor be subject to the consent of the cardholders. Cardholders shall not be entitled to any compensation for any such cancellation, suspension and/or termination.
